MidnightEscape originated as a BBS in Fort Wayne, Indiana running Spitfire BBS Software. Over the years it progressed and ran PCBoard BBS Software on OS/2 Warp. This site was created to advertise that BBS, but it has long since passed away.
My name is Earl E. Gibson. I have done various things throughout my life. I joined the Air Force right out of high school. I was in the Security Police Career field for 9 years. After getting out I worked various small jobs until getting a job at ITT Aerospace in Fot Wayne, Indiana. I worked in the Security dept there for close to nine years before moving into the MIS dept. While working in MIS I was put into the Networking group and found that I really liked it. I have progressed through the years in the networking field. I was a CCNA & CCNP at one time, though have let those certifications lapse.
My primary job is that of a Network Engineer and a bit of a geek so I have been told. That would explain all the Networking & Wireless links throughout this site.
I used to do a lot of photography back in the pre-digital era. I am just now getting back into photography using a digital camera. Thus the reason there is a Gallery page and a few Photographic links. You can find a few of my photos out on istockphoto.com.
